Popular music composer AR Rahman has added another feather in his cap. The Oscar winning music composer has been chosen as the brand ambassador of the BAFTA Breakthrough initiative to represent India. When he was contacted for his feedback, he disclosed that he’s feeling very happy with the new responsibility to work with BAFTA.
This is what AR Rahman reciprocated with the news agency, “I am happy to be working with BAFTA to discover some of the amazing talent that India has to offer in film, games and television. This is a unique opportunity for promising artistes to be supported by a world renowned organization, to not only make connections with other talented creative across the world but to be mentored by BAFTA winners and nominees.”
There are hundreds of movies in which AR Rahman has given the music. Today, he has become a renowned figure in the world of music creation. In case, you like his music, you can follow him immensely.
But for the last some time, he was not getting as many projects from Bollywood due to the issue of nepotism as he mentioned sometime back.
He mentioned this after the murder of Sushant Singh Rajput stating that he too has come on the radar of those who snatch work from others and give it to their known members.
